I'm no school teacher, but I have spent over 40 years in the communications business. If you want to get a message across to the maximum number of people, you need to format that message in a manner they can easily digest - otherwise it may as well be posted in Egyptian hieroglyphics.

The message here is getting help for a fellow hammer. I feel there's a better way of doing that than FUCKING SHOUTING ALL THE TIME.

"TO ALL THE SCHOOL TEACHERS ON THIS SITE,"

I am a school teacher, but seeing as I am reading a football forum not a piece of homework YOU CARRY ON ONE IRON.

Some people need to get a life if they amuse themselves by correcting people's grammar in their spare time, especially on a thread of this nature.

Credit to all who are trying to help a fellow supporter in need.

Re: Thanks steve potts
It's just basic common sense, more people won't bother to read a post all in capital letters. Why do you feel the need to post in this fashion?

It's not a lack of respect, by a long shot. It's about getting a very important message across the internet to as many people as possible.

Make something difficult to read and people of today just won't read it; attention deficiency - and then some - is an unfortunate side-effect of the on-line, always connected world. Thanks, Blair.

If & when the site gets it's long-awaited make-over, adding a simple algorithm to "de-capitalise" posts might be a useful option.

Not quite sure what the problem is Mess, I didn't say anything to the contrary of that did I? My point being that the grammar nazis might not be so willing to have a silly pop about caps lock if they knew.

Once saw him score a screamer at St Johnstone away in a friendly ;o)

Driving back from Walsall away one day as well, an idiot almost hit the car and put us into a lorry on the M25. Was Steve Potts which suddenly mate it allowed for him to do so. Legend.

And do people seriously get worked up about someone using caps lock? Fuck me gents, get a life.

a lot of good to discuss here rather than the way someone writes their texts.

Re: Thanks steve potts
When you do it on every post, it does become a bit annoying! I mean, seriously, you think people will be more likely to read it because it is in caps?
